Gretchen Holbrook Gerzina spoke at two conferences and is a contributor to In the Garden: Essays in Honor of Frances Hodgson Burnett. She thanked the Curator in her books Frances Hodgson Burnett: The Unexpected Life of the Author of The Secret Garden and The Annotated Secret Garden.

Beverly Gherman has donated her papers and books to the Center.

Matthew Gollub visited the Center in the summer of 2008. He gave a presentation to a Fresno State class on critical literacy.

Jerry Griswold spoke at two Center conferences and is a contributor to In the Garden: Essays in Honor of Frances Hodgson Burnett. He acknowledged the Center's curator in his book Feeling Like a Kid: Childhood and Children's Literature.

Peter E. Hanff spoke in 2003 and he has attended many Center programs.

Doug Hansen thanked the Center in his book Mother Goose in California.

J. Daniel Herring spoke at the Beatrix Potter conference in April 2009. He directed a special showing of Katherine Paterson's adaptation of Jemima Puddle-duck for conference attendees.

Thacher Hurd spoke at Arne Nixon's Children's Literature Festivals and at the Center's Festival in 2002. He donated original art to the Center in 2002 and 2003 and art by his father Clement Hurd.

Diane Iverson donated original art and papers to the Center in 1999 and 2000.

Ariko Kawabata spoke at the Frances Hodgson Burnett conference and is a contributor to In the Garden: Essays in Honor of Frances Hodgson Burnett.

Steven Kellogg gave a presentation at Fresno State in 2006, co-sponsored with the campus JumpStart program and the Center.

Elizabeth Koehler-Pentacoff was a student of Arne Nixon’s. She visited the Center in 1999 and has pledged her papers.

Robin Rector Krupp donated her papers in 2008.

Alexandria LaFaye twice taught a CSU Summer Arts course, "Cultures of Childhood: Writing for Young Readers" at Fresno State, introducing many authors to the Center and its collections.

Deborah Nourse Lattimore spoke at the 2003 regional conference of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She donated original art to the Center in 2002 and has pledged her papers.

Alison Lurie spoke at the Frances Hodgson Burnett conference and is a contributor to In the Garden: Essays in Honor of Frances Hodgson Burnett. She thanked the Curator in her book Boys and Girls Forever: Children’s Classics from Cinderella to Harry Potter.

Jean Ray Laury donated original artwork, papers, and books to the Center in 2003.

Patricia McKissack spoke at the 2003 regional conference of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

Stephen Mooser donated his papers to the Arne Nixon Center and is a member of the ANC Advisory Board. Co-founder and President of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, he spoke at the 2003 and 2007 SCBWI regional conferences hosted by the Arne Nixon Center.

Walter Dean Myers presented at the Authors Readers Theater program in 2007.
