Aliki
Aliki spoke at Arne Nixon’s Children’s Literature Festivals. In 2005 she donated papers and original art to the Center. She spoke here in 2007. In 2008 she created and donated original art for the Center’s Web site.

Alma Flor Ada, a member of the Center’s Advisory Board, is giving her papers (ongoing donation) and books to the Center. She spoke here in 2006.

Watler R. Brooks
Walter R. Brooks, 1886-1958, was the author of the Freddy the Pig series. Michael Cart is donating the library of Walter R. Brooks to the Center.
Nick Bruel
Nick Bruel donated orginal art and graciously allowed the Center to adapt art from his book Bad Kitty for promotional materials in 2006.
F. Isabel Campoy
F. Isabel Campoy has pledged her papers and books to the Arne Nixon Center. She spoke at the 2006 ANCA Annual Meeting with Alma Flor Ada.
Angelica Shirley Carpenter
Angelica Shirley Carpenter, the Center’s founding Curator, edited In the Garden: Essays in Honor of Frances Hodgson Burnett, based on conferences she organized at Fresno State. She gives talks about the Center and about her own books in many locations.
Michael Cart
Michael Cart, a founding member of the Center’s Governing Committee, has donated thousands of books, his papers(ongoing donation), and the library of Walter R. Brooks. He has spoken here on many occasions and is a contributor to In the Garden: Essays in Honor of Frances Hodgson Burnett. He wrote about the Arne Nixon Center in his book Passions and Pleasures: Essays and Speeches about Literature and Libraries.

Chris Crutcher was a guest teacher for the Summer Arts class "Writing the Worlds of Childhood: The Art of Writing for Children" at Fresno State in 2002. He also spoke at the ANCA Ice Cream Social at the Fig Garden Swim and Racquet Club.
