ANC Advocates

The Arne Nixon Center Advocates, or ANCA, is a support group for the Arne Nixon Center. As of February 1, 2008 ANCA had 514 members, including 53 life members, from 25 states. [List of Members]

ANCA's mission is to:

Foster interest in literature for young people;
Generate excitement in sharing children's literature;
Promote awareness of the Arne Nixon Center; and
Address the needs of the Arne Nixon Center.

ANCA members receive:

The Center's newsletter, The Magic Mirror;
Advance mailings and invitations to special events;
Discounts on selected events;
The opportunity to meet others with similar interests; and
The satisfaction of knowing that their membership dues make a difference.

Life members are invited to special functions.

Members of ANCA automatically become members of the Friends of the Madden Library. Donations are tax-deductible as allowable by law.
